PorchFest Milton was staged earlier this month. The second annual version featured an increase in porches and performances over the inaugural season.

Performers from Milton, as well as Georgetown, Oakville, Burlington, Kitchener and Cambridge contributed to the success of the event.

Among the instruments played: guitar, bass, drums, kazoo, banjo, violin, cello, piano, cajon, recorder.

The song of year was “Ring of Fire,” which was serendipitously performed on all porches.

The staff band from Rick Imus Music Studio, The Haz-Mats, and student bands Buffalo Band-Its and SnapBacks made impressions.
